Interfacing to Remote Receivers

Fly Sky Format

Fly Sky Format:
Fly Sky receivers need to receive the transmitter binding codes over the serial cable each time they are turned on or they will not sync up with the transmitter, and they will not send any data. Once thay are synchronized with the transmitter, they will begin sending data representing all of the transmitter stick and switch postions in a non-standard, 16-bit asynchronous format. All data is sent at approximately 41.67K-baud. The bit protocol consists of a single start bit, 16 data bits, LSB first, and several stop bits. A total of seven 16-bit words are sent. The first 6 words represent transmitter stick and switch position information and the last word is a simple checksum.
