SM2 Refurbishment Program

Customer satisfaction is our top priority and we will do what it takes to make sure our product performance meets or exceeds our customers' expectations. Our product designs undergo exhaustive qualification and third-party beta testing to make sure they perform as advertised long before they are ever offered for sale. Many people use our products in many different ways, and sometimes there are subtle issues that slip through the cracks of qualification testing despite our best efforts to account for everything.

Recently we were made aware of some problems with our SM2 such that in rare cases the SM2 would lose its programmed configuration and revert back to the factory default settings. We have now been able to identify the source of the problem and have upgraded the design to prevent this from happening in the future. This "fix" has been incorporated into version V1.06 of the SM2 and is now available. All of our customers who purchased SM2 mixers prior to the release of this latest version will soon receive replacement upgraded V1.06 SM2s, free of charge. If you have not yet received yours, contact us to be sure we have your correct mailing address on file. In addition, we are making this special offer to all our customers who have received their replacement product(s) and still have their old SM2 mixer(s) lying around. Though you may not have experienced any problems with your original SM2, we do not recommend using these older products as they may reset the next time you turn them on. Use instead the new V1.06 replacement SM2 and you should have no problems at all. If you are pleased with the performance of the new V1.06 SM2 and would like more, our refurbishment program allows you to return to us any and all of your older version SM2 mixers and have them upgraded (refurbushed) to version V1.06 for a small fee of $10.00 each - much less than the cost of buying a new SM2. Here is how the program works:

  1. For every SM2 being returned for refurbishment, you pay just $10.00 each. Click on the "Add To Cart" button below and insert the quantity of SM2s being returned for refurbishment on the shopping cart order page.
  2. Send your old SM2(s) to the following address:

    Be sure to include your name and return mailing address as well as a valid e-mail address so we can contact you with any questions.
  3. Immediately upon receipt of your old SM2(s), we will upgrade each returned unit to version V1.06. Once the refurbishment process has been completed (usually less than 48 hous), we will contact you via e-mail and let you know that your refurbished SM2s have been shipped back to you.
  4. When you receive your refurbished SM2, verify it has been updated to version V1.06 on the SM2 Control Panel.
Your newly refurbished SM2 will show up on the SM2 Control Panel as version V1.06, just like the new V1.06 SM2 we sent you as a replacement product. Rest assured, the refurbished SM2 will perform as well as any new V1.06 SM2 you could purchase, and carries with it the same factory warranty, extended for both the replacement SM2 and any refurbished units so as to begin the day your replacement/refurbished SM2 is sent to you.
